Datavision’s CRM solution gives you the ability to track past and future guest stay patterns, booking patterns, activities and spending information. It leverages historical as well as on-the-books information at the guest and reservation level to give you a comprehensive look at your customer’s behaviors.
Every day, Datavision extracts three main types of information from your property management solution (PMS): guest data, stay data, and spending data. Then, by using Datavision CRM’s intuitive querying process, you can quickly extract valuable insights from your data, and create segments and groups for marketing purposes.
For example, you can use Datavision to identify guests who fit certain criteria such as, “Guests from Hong Kong who spent more than $500 in the Spa”, or “Social guests who stayed over Christmas the last 3 years”, or “Guests who stayed at least seven nights and spent a total of $2,500”. Use Case - Multi Property
Datavision’s Multi-Property solution has been designed from the ground up to make the consolidation of data from multiple properties seamless and intuitive. From each site, data is extracted from on-property systems (PMS, POS, etc.) and off-property systems (Comp Set, Guest Comments, etc.) and merged into the multi-property data warehouse at corporate.
The Datavision system normalizes the data to fit a corporate standard so that the data can be combined into standardized rollups (Groups, Transients, Suites, Deluxes, etc.). This allows users to view data at a consolidated level and still have the ability to drill down to the individual codes that came from each property.
Within Datavision’s Multi-Property solution, properties can be consolidated in multiple ways such as by geography, hotel type, or by size. This gives users the ability to monitor enterprise performance along different lines of analysis. The solution’s rich dashboards and views help show valuable insights – built on recent data, not after monthly reports are run and analyzed.

Use Case - Forecasting
Datavision’s Forecasting solution will streamline your hotel’s entire budgeting and forecasting process. Department heads can budget and forecast their own department with the data automatically coming from and flowing back to Datavision’s database. Datavision combines the raw data, models and forecast/budget data to deliver reports that are all aligned around a single source of data.
With Datavision’s Forecasting solution, you can continue using Microsoft Excel as your forecasting engine, but no longer have to maintain linked sheets. Datavision connects each model to a central data warehouse to send and receive data, which will allow each model to be used independently. Data written into one model will automatically flow into any other models.
Datavision has also developed a set of utilities that will make copies of your forecast – every day, if necessary. This will allow you to compare various sets of forecasts and to do backcasting (comparing what you forecasted for a certain month and what your actuals were for that month). In addition, Datavision has also built an AutoForecaster utility that will calculate and upload selected sheets, allowing you to automatically propagate changes from one sheet to all dependent sheets in batch mode without user intervention.

Use Case - Financial Reporting
Datavision’s Financial Reporting solution enables you to finally get information from all your key systems from a single source. Datavision enables all of your daily reports to be online – no more printing and saving paper copies or manually calculating Period to Date numbers via macros.
By mixing and matching data from PMS, POS, and Spa systems on the same report, it’s easy to create daily flash reports. Plus, it eliminates the error-prone and time-consuming work of re-keying separate data reports by accounting and auditing staff. In addition, Datavision’s PMS and POS interfaces collect rebates, payments, taxes, tips, and service charges, so that the same model that creates the daily flash report can be extended to generate an automated Income Journals and S&P Journals that can be directly posted into the Back Office.
Datavision’s Financial Reporting solution also allows daily reports to display audited and unaudited data side by side from the same data warehouse. Once the data is exported to the General Ledger system, and any adjustments have been made directly in the GL, Datavision’s GL interface will bring the audited data back into the data warehouse. Datavision now contains unaudited data from PMS/POS, as well as the corresponding audited data from the GL, completing the full data cycle.
